Yesturday evening, at about
8:00, we (as in Ryan, myself, our friend Derek, & the kids) decided that we wanted to go camping. So, we threw all of the camping stuff and ourselves in the car and set out to Oak Grove, about a 30 minute drive. When we got there, we discovered, that all of the camping spots were full! So, we started the hunt for a spot for us to set camp. Finally, at about
11:30!, we found ourselves a spot and set up camp.
Whoa! Those are some big flames!
When we woke up it was super windy. Derek had to chase his tent down cuz it decided to blow away!! lol

We arrived back home at about 8:00 this morning. Talk about a spontanious, fast, but fun camping trip. : )

I forgot to tell one thing...We did find one camp site before we found the one we stayed at. But, when we turned off the car to get out and set up, the people in the camp site next to us shot off a gun!! Lets just say that their scare tactic worked. We bailed! We were looking for a fun family camp out, not a bunch of psychos shooting guns kind of camp out!
First of all, we would love to have you come celebrate summer solstice with us any year. LOL
This trip looks like tons of fun. To bad naughty people have to ruin it for everyone who just wants to have a good time. These are neat pictures. we need to quit working on the house and go do something fun like that.
