Twilight
I havent blogged in a few days because I have decided to read the Twilight books. I have finished Twilight and New Moon and am so very anxious to read the other two. My only question to myself is why I waited so long to read these wonderful books? Im also very excited for the movie to come out, hence the count down. :)

No More Clogged Tear Duct- Hooray!
Ethan had his eye surgery today. We went in at 8:00 am. And were back home by 9:30 am. Super Fast. He is sleeping right now. The anisthesia hasnt quite worn off yet. :) The pupil in the eye that they worked on is super dialated, but he is doing good. We just have to keep an anitbiotic ointment on his eye and go in for a follow up appointment on the 4th of Septemeber.

My Foot Is Infected
So, today I went ahead and went to InstaCare because my foot was still swollen but more red and tender than it has been. It is infact infected. So, the doctor prescribed me with an anitbiotic and some prescription strength anti-itch cream. That is the update and conclusion to my foot experience. :)

What In The Hell Is This?
Now, let me just tell you of my experience starting from the beginning...
I had just picked Azelin up from school and we were cutting thru the lawn to get to the car when I stepped on this "thing". It felt, at first, like I had stepped on a bee and was being stung. I kicked my flip flop off and pulled out a tiny soft prickly thing. Definitely not a bee stinger. By this time the pain had spread thru my whole foot and into my ankle. I could barely finish the walk to the car while holding back tears. Now, I consider myself not to be a wuss. I like to bitch and complain, but I can handle pain until it becomes excruciating. And it most definitely was excruciating. After an hour or so the pain had gone from my foot and ankle. However my toe was and still is a completely different story. It hurts. So, that was all part one! Part two of the story goes like this... Last night at about 11:00 I started getting flu like symptoms. I had the cold chills, headache, was nauseous, and my body was sore. I just went to bed in hopes that when I woke up I would feel better. And I did, thank Heavens. Except for my toe.
If anybody has any insight on what this evil thistle is, please let me know...

It Is Finally Official
If you saw my last posts, you know that Azelin missed her official first day of Kindergarden due to a dentist appointment. So today was her official first day. She is a Kindergardner! And she is very cocky about the fact. But that is ok. She is super cute. In the picture she is standing next to a bobcat, which is the school mascot. Wednesday, August 13, 2008
All About Azelin
AND THEN TODAY...
Here she is, ready to go to the dentist to get her teeth fixed. She had 3 caps and 1 extraction that needed done!! You would think I never had her brush her teeth. She does though, quite faithfully actually.
I guess Azelin was telling the nurses all sorts of stories while she was at the dentist. Here is a story that one of the nurses told me that she was telling them. She said Azey had her totally believing the story too! She said "One day I was riding on my bike and my friends pushed me off. And I was bleeding really bad and my mom had to take me to the hospital." The nurse was feeling totally sorry for her until Azey said, "Im just pretending. I made that story up. Im an actress today." The nurse was cracking up. Azey, Azey, Azey, what are we going to do with you?
Our Kitchen Flooded...Again!!
He had to jack hammer the concrete under the kitchen sink to get to the broken pipe. Then he fixed it and burried it back up. We have already had a pipe break under the kitchen sink before. So this time he is not going to fill it back up with concrete, just in case it happens again.
By 3:00 in the morning things were fixed and cleaned up as much as they can be at this point.
Good job, Babe!!

Amen, Brotha!
Sorry about the title. You know me, I cant be 100% serious. Dont know why, its just the way it is. :) Anyway.....
I was just listening to my playlist and "I know that my Redeemer lives" started playing. I put this song on my playlist because it is my very favorite hymn. Without fail, every time I hear or sing this song, I can feel the spirit. Its the best when the whole congregration sings it all together. Sends the chills thru the whole song, because I know that our Redeemer lives!

Back To School Night
Azelin standing in front of the Bloomington Hills Elementary bus :) at back to school night. If you look just to the right of her head you can see the face she drew of herself, her name written on it. We really enjoyed back to school night. We got to hear the school song, see Azeys classroom, and meet her teacher, Mrs. Jones. Im very excited for Azey to be in Kindergarden. And I know Mrs. Jones is going to be an ausome teacher for Azey. More importantly, Azey is excited! So, school starts on Tuesday!! Hooray!!Azelin Showin Us Her Stuff
For some reason the sound wont work on this video clip! So sad. Cuz it is so cute. Just go down to my playlist and click on "too cool" by camp rock before you watch. Its the very last song on my playlist. That is the song she is singing and dancing to. It is one of her favorites!
Updates And Stuff
We took Ethan to his Doctor appointment today. And he goes in to get his tear duct probed on Tuesday August 19. They call it surgery, but I dont like that word. He does have to have anesthesia but the whole probing process takes no longer than 15 minutes. Hooray!
And Azelin has back to school night tonight. She is super excited to meet her teacher, Mrs. Jones, and see her classroom. And she is counting down the days til school starts. It is fun to see her so excited. I just cant believe she is going to be in kindergarden!

Little Ethan
Ethan is doing much better. As of Saturday his fever was completely gone. That was the wierdest sickness cuz his fever was his only symptom the whole time. Pretty crazy, but we are still glad it is over. :)
Since Ethan was a baby he has had a clogged tear duct. So, when I took him to the pediatricain for his fever, He referred Ethan to an eye specialist. His appointment is Thursday morning at 8:30. Extremely early for us, but it will be good to see what needs to be done with Ethans poor little eye. We will keep you updated on that.

Sick Boy
Ethan woke up this last Monday morning with a fever. And it lasted clear thru last night and ranged from 100-103.2 degrees. I took him into the pediatrician and he was perfectly fine other than the fever. So, the doctor told us that it must just be one of the wierd bugs that are going around and that was it. But despite not feeling well Ethan really kept in good spirits. It seems like he always does. Take the next pictures, along with the top one, as proof.
And, this is when Ethan was about 4 months old. We spent an entire weekend in the hospital because he had RSV. And look at him. He's happy and smiling. He truly is so good at staying in good spirits. What a tough little man.
