Our Little Sheekers

This is our 4 year old German Short Hair, Sheek. She has very high energy so everytime we open the front door she runs! And it is always ok. We live in a good neighborhood. And she always comes back safely. Until the 24th of July. When she came back home it looked as if she had been attacked by another dog. She had chunks of hair and skin taken out of her head, butt, legs, ankles, just everywhere. The inside of her hind legs were completely raw and she was anxietized to the max. So, Ryan took her to the Emergency Dog Hospital (our vets office was closed since it was a holiday). The Doctor concluded that a car had ran her over and drug her down the road. All of those chunks missing were road burn! So, he prescribed Sheekers with some anti-biotic and told Ryan to clean her up and douse her with neosporin. She is still a little soar but she is healing well. And her energy level is back up too. : ) Back to crazy ol' Sheekers.

It really sucks when our animals get hurt. I just went through something similar with my cat. They are part of the family too.
Glad your dog is feeling better.
